In July 2025, Bishop Dr. Darlingston G. Johnson, Presiding Bishop of Harvest Intercontinental Ministries Unlimited (HIM-U), served as the keynote speaker at the Senegal Diocesan Conference, hosted by Bishop Charles Okafor, Diocesan Bishop of the 3rd Diocese, which covers Senegal, Ivory Coast, Mali, and The Gambia. The conference brought together Senior Pastors and National Overseers from across the diocese for a time of worship, teaching, and fellowship. Bishop Johnson’s messages challenged and inspired leaders to advance the Harvest vision: “a world where no one lives or dies without Christ.” A historic highlight of the visit was the commissioning of a large parcel of land and the foundation laying of the new Harvest Intercontinental Cathedral in Senegal. This cathedral will serve as the headquarters of the 3rd Diocese, symbolizing growth, stability, and a renewed commitment to impacting West Africa for Christ. The event left leaders and members empowered, united, and ready to embrace the next chapter of ministry in the region.
